Biography of Walter Wong

I have been training in the Martial Arts for since 1989. Since 2005, I have devoted myself to the study of swordsmanship, as taught by James Williams Sensei, at the Dojo Of The Four Winds in Encinitas Ca.

The style that I teach at Boston Samurai Arts is called Nami Ryu Aiki Heiho. Translated (wave style of subtle strategy) under the guidance of Mr. James Williams. Nami Ryu means Wave Style with an understanding that energy travel in waves. It is a principle based system rather than technique based. Being principle based allows one to have infinite solutions to countless combative situations. We are carrying on the teachings of James Williams Sensei and the old classical combative arts of the samurai of ancient Japan. I am the only instructor, certified under James Williams, in the state of Massachusetts, that can teach Nami Ryu. The weekly classes will be taught by me. I will make arrangements for Mr. Williams to come to the dojo to teach intensive seminars, once or twice a year, and to oversee everything that is being taught at the dojo.
